Define what a snipe means
A CS2 skin snipe is a listing that appears under a realistic market value, not simply a listing with a large theoretical price gap. Strong snipes usually combine a fair entry price, clean live comps, enough liquidity, and a clear reason another buyer would pay more.
Before you chase speed, define your minimum profit, minimum ROI, item categories, and risk tolerance. Clear filters make the feed easier to trust.
Let the scanner find candidates
Use Live Profitable Deals for items that already passed profit-style checks. Use Market Scan when you want to watch a wider set of raw listings, including items that match a name or sticker rule before every live price check finishes.
If you are targeting a specific skin, create an alert with name filters and max age rules. That keeps the feed focused on newly scanned matches instead of reposting old results.
Check the deal stack
Review the listing price, lowest live price, predicted value, ROI, liquidity, float, seed, sticker value, and marketplace source. No single number is enough.
Sticker crafts need extra caution. Total sticker value can help you find overlooked listings, but sticker value is not guaranteed overpay unless buyers actually want that craft.
Move fast, but do not skip confirmation
Good snipes disappear quickly, but bad buys also happen quickly. Open the listing, compare similar active listings, check fees, and decide whether the item fits your exit plan.
When a trade depends on a niche buyer, demand more margin. When the item is liquid and the spread is real, smaller ROI can still be worth reviewing.
